VLOG #2: Three Life Lessons from an Ironman
After a 10 month training regimen, Hugh Scott crossed the finish line in Lake Placid, New York on July 28th 2019 making him a 1st time Ironman finisher. Hugh spent countless hours preparing physically, mentally and emotionally for that day which culminated in completing 140.6 miles in under 15 hours.
In this 17 minute video, Hugh and I discuss three important lessons he learned from this Ironman experience:
Have a strong PURPOSE for why you are setting out on your journey
Follow a well thought out PLAN and consistently take action on it daily
Have an ACCOUNTABILITY metric in place that will not let you off the hook
Whether your an athlete or not, these lessons can be applied to any journey you wish to set out on in your life.
