Five Questions to Bring into Spring
We made it! Tis’ the week of the spring equinox. The beginning of a new season which represents a time of renewal, fertility and rebirth. Ever since the clocks sprang forward just over a week ago I have felt the energy shift within and around me. I’ve witnessed an extra pep in people’s step as they walk down the road. I’ve seen the plants begin to bloom. And everyone’s spirits seem somewhat lighter, more playful and cheery given all the extra daylight. Everyone and everything seems to be emerging from winter hibernation, ready to plant new beginnings - both literally, and figuratively.
As you move into the spring season, now is a perfect time to reflect on what it is you want to plant for yourself during these upcoming months and what you’ll need on that journey to support you. Just like a farmer, preparation and intention is required prior to planting. Although it’s tempting to move right into taking action, you run the risk of missing important details and lack of strategy which can lead to inefficiencies and even worse - an unproductive crop season. Or, in this case just an okay or mediocre spring.
So grab a pen, some paper and take a moment to reflect on the below questions:
Which projects do you want to prioritize and why?
What are you passionate about that you want to explore?
What are you ready to let go of (thoughts, people, emotions, etc.) so you can step further into living your best life?
What qualities do you possess that will support you in fulfilling your desires this spring?
Who can you share your spring desires with and who will help hold you accountable?
Sit with your answers over the next week and come back to them periodically to refine and improve! And if you’re up for it, drop me a note to share your answers with me using the form below - as the process of writing down your answers and sharing them can have an accountability multiplier effect for yourself!
